About the Program
Every summer Livingston Parish SADD hosts a free safety and prevention summer camp for kids in grades 1-5. Trained high school students who are alcohol, tobacco, and drug free teach the research based program.
The camp educates children on the importance of protecting their brains by teaching vehicle and bicycle safety, refusal techniques, internet safety, decision making skills, prescription safety, and character development.
Campers learn this information through age-specific group activities, role-plays, structured discussions, exploring real life topics, parent involvement, and much more!
